Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery's 2011 USL Pro schedule has been set with the Battery playing a 24 game regular season April 9 through August 12. Charleston's home opener is versus the Charlotte Eagles on Saturday, April 9. The 2011 campaign will see the Battery renew its rivalry with the Rochester Rhinos and the Wilmington Hammerheads (NC) as USL PRO begins a new era of professional soccer with a 15 team, three division format.
Other new additions to the league include Orlando City, the Dayton Dutch Lions, F.C. New York, the Los Angeles Blues and four new Caribbean sides, three playing in Puerto Rico and one in Antigua.
Charleston will play in the America Division alongside the Charlotte Eagles, the Richmond Kickers, Orlando City and the Wilmington Hammerheads with the top three teams advancing to the post season. The format of the 2011 USL PRO post season will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Battery will once again begin its preparations for the season by hosting the Carolina Challenge Cup featuring Major League Soccer's D.C. United, Chicago Fire and Toronto F.C. March 5 - 12 at Blackbaud Stadium. In addition to the CCC and the USL Pro regular season the Battery will also enter the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Season tickets are on sale now with packages starting at only $150. All season ticket packages include tickets to the Carolina Challenge Cup featuring Major League Soccer.
In addition to standard season ticket packages a limited number of Three Lions Club memberships are available. Three Lions Club memberships allow early access into the stadium, free reserved parking and exclusive entry into the Three Lions Club which features a complimentary pre-match catered buffet before every game.
